Terms of Service

  1. “Clientjoy” refers to Pivoting Softwares Pvt. Ltd, a company registered in Ahmedabad, India.
  2. “Subscription Service” or “Service” refers to the software, professional services and technical support services provided by Clientjoy at the website (https://www.clientjoy.io), consisting of
  3. all proprietary technology (software, hardware, processes, algorithms, user interfaces, know-how, techniques, templates, designs, and other tangible or intangible technical material or information) of Clientjoy,
  4. licensors and service providers used by Clientjoy to provide the Subscription Services
  5. “Order Form” refers to the purchase confirmation of Clientjoy from Customer, from a document identifying the Subscription Service, Pricing Metrics, and Price signed by a duly authorized representative of the Customer and made available by Clientjoy pursuant to this TOS.
  6. “Pricing Metrics” refers to the charges for the users and usage of the Subscription Service described in the Order Form or Pricing Page.
  7. “Party” refers to the business entity of either Clientjoy or the Customer.
  8. “Customer Database” refers to the business data records stored in the customer data that is successfully connected to Clientjoy software, which will be classified as confidential information.

General Terms of Service

  1. This Terms of Service (“TOS”) constitute a single, legally binding document, which governs the Customer’s use of the Service by the law of Ahmedabad, India, even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by Customer and Clientjoy.
  2. Customer warrants that it is a legal entity in good standing in the jurisdiction of its formation.
  3. By accepting this TOS or by continuing to access or use the Service, Customer acknowledges that Customer has read, understood, and agree to be bound by this TOS.
  4. The failure of Clientjoy to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this TOS shall not be a waiver of that right.
  5. From time to time, Clientjoy may modify this TOS without prior notice, and the TOS becomes effective from the date of posting. Customer can review the most current version of the TOS at any time here

Subscription Service

  1. Clientjoy owns all right, title and interest in and to the Subscription Services, including all related intellectual property rights. Clientjoy reserves all rights not expressly granted to Customer under this TOS.
  2. Subject to the TOS, Clientjoy grants Customer a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the paid Subscription Service solely in connection with the Customer’s internal business operations.
  3. Customer’s use of the Subscription Service includes the right to access all functionality available in the purchased Subscription Service as of the date specified in the Order Form, subject to the applicable pricing metrics based on users and software feature usage described on the Order Form.
  4. Customer may access and use the Service only for lawful purposes and shall not mimic its functionality by creating derivative works based on the Service’s features, user interface or functionality pattern
  5. Clientjoy reserves the right to change the price, pricing metrics, pricing metric definitions, service offering, or add-ons at any time by sending email to the customer at least thirty (30) days in advance.

Billing and Fees

  1. The customer agrees to pay Clientjoy the amount that is specified in the Order Form within the use of the applicable Pricing Metrics. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable.
  2. The customer’s subscription term shall be automatically renewed for a period equal to the initial term unless either Party notifies the other by email at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the then-current term.
  3. The transaction charge will be in United States Dollars.
  4. Customer is solely responsible for the payment of all taxes, assessments, tariffs, duties or other fees imposed, assessed or collected by or under the authority of any governmental body.
  5. The customer will notify Clientjoy within sixty (60) days from the invoice date if there’s a dispute on any charges. Clientjoy reserves the right to revise prices by providing email to the Customer at least 30 days before the change is to take effect.

Credit Card Payments

  1. Credit Card payment mode is the default payment mode for customers not on the Enterprise Pricing Plan
  2. Customers must be authorized to use the credit card information submitted to create the billing account.
  3. Clientjoy does not store credit card information on our servers. Billing shall be done via third-party authorized billing agents, utilizing industry-standard security software in order to create a safe transaction.
  4. The customer hereby authorizes Clientjoy to bill the Customer.
  5. Clientjoy shall provide an invoice for each transaction made to the Customer credit card.
  6. By authorizing Clientjoy to charge a credit card, you are authorizing Clientjoy or a designated representative or agent to automatically continue charging that card (or any replacement credit card account if the original card is renewed, lost, stolen, or changed for any reason by the credit-issuing entity, and such entity informs Clientjoy of such new replacement card account), financial account, or billing account for all fees and charges associated with the Services. If the credit card information you provided is not valid, or if your credit card cannot be processed at the time of the renewal charge, Clientjoy reserves the right to immediately terminate or suspend your access to the Services, in the case of termination thereby terminating this Agreement and all of Clientjoy’s obligations hereunder.

Payment Methods

  1. All Subscription Services fees will be invoiced in advance as set forth in the applicable Order Form.
  2. Except as otherwise set forth in the applicable Order Form, Customer agrees to pay all invoiced amounts immediately after receiving the invoice.
  3. For international telegraphic transfers, Customer and Clientjoy will be responsible for the transaction fees for each other’s own respective banks or financial institutions.
  4. If any amounts owed by Customer for the Service are overdue for at least thirty (30) days, Clientjoy may, without limiting Clientjoy’s other rights and remedies, suspend Customer’s access to the Services until such amounts are paid in full.

Customer Data, Feedback, and Metadata

  1. Clientjoy does not own and shall not be responsible for any data, information, or material authorized by Customer to retrieve or submit to Clientjoy in the course of using the Service (“Customer Data”).
  2. Customer shall be solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, integrity, legality, reliability, appropriateness, and intellectual property ownership or right to use all Customer Data, and Clientjoy shall not be responsible or liable for the deletion, correction, destruction, damage, loss or failure to store any Customer Data.
  3. The customer may provide Clientjoy with feedback, suggestions, and ideas, if Customer chooses, about the Service (“Feedback”).
  4. Customer agrees that the Feedback submitted to Clientjoy
  5. Does not contain confidential or proprietary information and does not bind Clientjoy to any obligation of confidentiality, express or implied
  6. May be used by Clientjoy to reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, or disclose (or choose not to use or disclose) such Feedback for any purpose, in any way, in any media worldwide without any obligation to provide attribution or compensation to Customer or any third party.
  7. Clientjoy may monitor Customer’s use of the Services and use data related to Customer’s use in an aggregate and anonymous manner (“Metadata that is non-identifiable”), including to compile statistical and performance information related to the provision and operation of the Services. Clientjoy retains all intellectual property rights in such Metadata.
  8. The customer agrees that Clientjoy may make the Metadata publicly available, provided that such information does not incorporate any Customer Data and/or identify Customer or its Confidential Information.

Customer Support

  1. Customers can email Clientjoy Customer Support (support@clientjoy.io) for software related support, or request for assistance, guidance, and advice on the use of the software.
  2. The Clientjoy support team is open from 10 am to 6 pm Indian Standard Time (GMT+5.5) from Mondays to Fridays, excluding Indian Public holidays.
  3. Clientjoy can, with express written permission of the customer, access Customer’s user account(s) to identify and resolve potential root-causes and problems raised.

Account Information from Third Party Providers

  1. Customers may direct Clientjoy to retrieve certain information maintained online by third-party providers that have a customer-vendor relationship with the Customer.
  2. By using the Service and providing Customer Access Information, Customer expressly authorizes Clientjoy to access and use Customer Account Information maintained by identified third parties, on Customer behalf as Customer agent.
  3. Customer represents and warrants that neither the foregoing (or anything else in this ToS) nor Customer use of the Services will violate any agreement or terms to which Customer is subject, including without limitation, those with respect to any third-party site.
  4. The customer acknowledges and agrees that when Clientjoy accesses and retrieves account information from third party sites, Clientjoy is acting as a customer agent, and not as the agent of or on behalf of the third party.
  5. As such, Clientjoy is not liable for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such third party services.
  6. Clientjoy does not guarantee that any such third party services will continue to be made available within the Service, and such services may be removed or disabled by Clientjoy at any time without notice to you.

Free Trial

  1. “Free Trial” refers to the use of Clientjoy Subscription Service for free, for a period of time determined by Clientjoy.
  2. Customer access to the Free Trial is limited to evaluating whether to purchase a subscription for Clientjoy Service. Customers may not use the Free Trial for any other purposes, including but not limited to competitive analysis, commercial, professional or for-profit purposes.
  3. Clientjoy has the right to terminate the Free Trial at any time. Unless Customers purchase a subscription for Clientjoy Service, upon any such termination or expiration Customer Free Trial will cease and Customer will no longer have access to any Customer Data used in connection with the Free Trial.


  1. We are ever-evolving and upgrading our features. We may add or remove them or stop providing them altogether. You are free to stop using our services at any time, however, we’ll be sorry to see our valued user, leave. We are aware of the fact that you own your data and that preserving your access to the data is important. So in case of discontinuation of a feature, wherever reasonably possible, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice and hence a chance to preserve your data of that feature.
  2. Either party may terminate this ToS (including all related Order Forms) if the other party:
  3. fails to cure any breach of this TOS within thirty (30) days after email notice of such breach;
  4. ceases operation without a successor; or
  5. seeks protection under any bankruptcy, receivership, trust deed, creditors arrangement, composition or comparable proceeding, or if any such proceeding is instituted against such party (and not dismissed within sixty (60) days)).
  6. Termination is not an exclusive remedy and the exercise by either party of any remedy under this ToS will be without prejudice to any other remedies it may have under this ToS, by law, or otherwise.
  7. All Customer Data on the Service (if any) may be permanently deleted after 90 days by Clientjoy upon termination.
  8. Clientjoy shall not be liable to Customer or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service. All accrued rights to billing and payment shall survive the termination of this TOS.


  1. Customer, not Clientjoy, shall be solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, integrity, legality, reliability, appropriateness, and intellectual property ownership or right to use all Customer Data, and Clientjoy shall not be responsible or liable for the deletion, correction, destruction, damage, loss or failure to store any Customer Data.
  2. Customer will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Clientjoy, its suppliers and licensors, and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, representatives, and assigns, from any costs, damages, expenses, and liability caused by Customer’s use of the Service, Customer’s violation of this ToS, or Customer’s violation of any rights of a third party through the use of the Service.
  3. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Clientjoy harmless from and against any loss, cost, damage, and expense, including but not limited to attorney’s fees and court costs, arising directly or indirectly from the use of the Clientjoy BI Service and/or Customer’s breach of any representation, warranty or restriction contained in this TOS.

Limitation of Liability

  1. Neither party shall be liable under this ToS for any of the following losses suffered or incurred by the other party (whether or not such losses were within the contemplation of the parties at the date of this ToS):
  2. loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts);
  3. loss of anticipated savings;
  4. loss of business opportunity;
  5. loss of reputation or damage to goodwill; and
  6. special, indirect or consequential losses.
  7. Each party’s liability under this ToS in relation to liability arising from any given event or series of connected events shall be limited to the total amount paid by Customer in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the month in which the event (or first in a series of connected events) occurred.

Privacy Policy

Clientjoy understands you care how information about you is collected and used. Clientjoy is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with us. This Clientjoy Privacy Policy describes Pivoting Softwares Pvt. Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Clientjoy) privacy practices for our websites, services, and apps that link to this policy. This policy also details our privacy practices related to Clientjoy marketing, advertising, and company events.

In this Privacy Policy, we will refer to the Clientjoy Platform and related services collectively as our “Services.” We will refer to our emails, newsletters, and other marketing and advertising practices collectively as our “Communications.” For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Privacy and Security

We strive to protect your privacy and secure your information. Despite there being no such thing as perfect online privacy/security, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of your personal information. However, you understand and agree that these steps do not guarantee immunity from unethical security breaches, viruses, security threats, and other harmful vulnerabilities.

GDPR Data Protection Rights

We are a Data Controller of your information.

Clientjoy will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. If you wish to be informed what Personal Information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us on support@clientjoy.io.

In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

  • The right to access, update or to delete the information we have on you.

Log Files

Clientjoy follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Clientjoy does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Online Privacy Policy Only

This privacy policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Clientjoy. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

Information Clientjoy Collects & Controls

We only collect the information that we actually need. Some of that is information that you actively give us when you sign up for an account, register for an event, ask for customer support, or buy something from us. We store your name and contact information.

When you visit one of our websites or use our software, we automatically log some basic information like how you got to the site, where you navigated within it, and what features and settings you use. We use this information to improve our websites and services and to drive new product development.

Sometimes we receive information indirectly. If you ask about our products through one of our referral programs or affiliate partners, or sign in to one of our products through an authentication service provider like LinkedIn or Google, they’ll pass on your contact information to us. We’ll use that information to complete the request that you made. If you engage with our brand on social media (for instance, liking, commenting, retweeting, mentioning, or following us), we’ll have access to your interactions and profile information.

If you provide the App access to your Google data, the App will only use access to read, write, modify or control Gmail message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide a web email client that allows users to compose, send, read, and process emails and will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. The App’s use of information received, and the App’s transfer of information to any other app, from Google APIs, will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.


Clientjoy makes no guarantee that the content on the Site and/or the Service is appropriate or available or appropriate for use in your country. Users or people who visit and/or use the Site and/or the Service, do it on their own free will and risk and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws. Clientjoy reserves the right to, at any time, limit or restrict the availability and accessibility of the Site and/or the Service to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction and also limit the quantities of any such feature that we provide.

Information security and storage

At Clientjoy, we take matters of data security very seriously. We are hosted on the highly secure and reliable Amazon AWS servers, that promise optimal uptime, and data security for all our customers. Our servers are hosted in world-class AWS data centers that are protected by biometric locks and 24-hour surveillance. We ensure that our application is always up to date with the latest security patches. All Clientjoy plans include SSL encryption to keep your data absolutely safe.


Clientjoy uses cookies and similar technologies to provide our websites and to help collect data. Like any other website, these cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Storing your Preferences and Settings – Settings that enable our website to operate correctly or that maintain your preferences over time may be stored on your device.

Sign-in and Authentication – When you sign in to our website using your credentials, we store a unique ID number, and the time you signed in, in an encrypted cookie on your device. Google is one of a third-party vendor on our site. Security Statement

Clientjoy takes measures to avoid & nullify attempts by third-parties to compromise data of users of Clientjoy. This document details the measures that we have taken while building & deploying the software.

Clientjoy is a complete client life-cycle software for modern teams and agencies that allows them to manage their Leads, Proposals, Invoices and Payments in one place.

Security Measures

API authentication happens with OAuth 2.0 for both client & user access. At code level, CSRF, Form tampering, SQL Injection and XSS prevention have been deployed. Cloud Flare is used as Firewall. Network is SSL encrypted. Data access happens through multi-factor authentication and data is encrypted in transit & at rest.


The environment that hosts Clientjoy maintains multiple certifications for its data centers, including ISO 27001 compliance, PCI Certification, and SOC reports. For more information about their certification and compliance, please see this.

Availability & Recovery

Our infrastructure will run on systems that are fault tolerant, for failures of individual servers or even entire data centers.

Customer Data will be stored redundantly at multiple locations in our hosting provider’s data centers to ensure availability. We have well-tested backup and restoration procedures, which allow recovery from a major disaster. Customer Data and our source code are automatically backed up nightly. In case of a misbehavior, the Operations team is alerted in real-time and back-up is automatically deployed.


We place strict controls over our own access to the data. We have technical controls and audit policies in place to ensure that if any, access to Resources is logged. We do a review of these policies routinely every 90 days along with security audits.

All of our employees and contract personnel are bound to our policies regarding Customer Data and we treat these issues as matters of the highest importance within our company.

Encrypted Transactions

Web connections to Clientjoy will be via TLS 1.2 and above. We support forward secrecy and AES-GCM, and prohibit insecure connections using SSL 3.0and below or RC4.


All files at rest & in-transit are encrypted using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
